Where’s the best Chinese food in Kansas City?

Difficulty: Not PF Chang’s, crab rangoon must contain actual crab, and sweet and sour sauce must be better than that ketchup-quality crap you usually get.
Kansas City seems to be a great place for BBQ, but I still can’t seem to find decent Chinese – especially in midtown. Everyone seems to like Bo Ling’s, but I’ve never had very good luck with their takeout, and actually had a couple pretty gross Bo Ling’s meals down in Overland Park – definitely won’t be going back to those two locations…
I’ve also had New Peking (expensive for the relatively low quality you get), Palace Express, Lu Lu’s (very good but doesn’t really count as Chinese), Sheng Chinese, Kin Lin, and a few others and none of them are very good. Any thoughts? It doesn’t have to be “cheap Chinese” as long as it’s Great Chinese as far as I’m concerned.
